Description
The walls to the walled gardens north-west of Combe House date from the 18th century or earlier. They are constructed of Flemish bond handmade brick, with one wall made of stone rubble. These walls enclose two adjoining walled gardens that lead up to a vineyard, as well as the remains of a walled garden located to the rear (north) of Combe House. The tall brick walls include one that is ramped and immediately adjacent to the house. These structures hold group value with Combe House and its associated buildings. The gardens at Combe are listed as grade II on the Register of Parks and Gardens of special historic interest in England.
