Description
Crawley Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from around the 17th century, with a wing added in the 18th century. The building is constructed of roughcast stone rubble and is positioned at right angles to the road. It features a thatched roof with gabled and half-hipped ends, forming an L-shape with the 18th-century wing located to the northwest. The farmhouse has two storeys and the east front has a three-window range, consisting of three and four-light casements with glazing bars. To the left of the centre, there is a panelled door with a tiled roof porch. An off-centre brick ridge chimney stack is present, and at the rear, there is a three-light hollow chamfered stone mullion window with a hood mould. Additionally, there is a stair projection at the angle with the rear wing.
