Description

The walls and gatepiers located 50 metres northeast of Killerton Chapel date from around 1840. They are constructed from volcanic rubble known as Killerton Stone. The structure features two square-plan gatepiers with flat moulded caps at one end of a long wall that serves as the revetment for Killerton Chapel. There is a well recessed under a semi-circular arch with lightly tooled rustication, and the wall includes two slightly battered buttresses.
