Description
The Cavalier Public House is an early 19th-century red brick corner building, which has been painted. It features an asbestos slate hipped roof with overhanging eaves and stands three storeys tall. The elevation facing West Street has two bays, with sash windows that include glazing bars, set beneath flat rubbed brick arches with keyblocks. There is a central doorway adorned with panelled pilasters, an entablature, panelled reveals, and a panelled door. A modern hood is present over the ground storey. The return elevation on Church Street is roughcast, also with two bays, and includes a right-hand moulded doorcase with an entablature.
