Description
Kennicotts is an 18th-century house constructed of cob with a stone plinth, rendered, and topped with a hipped wheat-reed thatched roof. The front of the house is symmetrical, featuring a range of three windows, all fitted with two timber 6-paned sashes, except for one window that has no horns. The central door has four fielded panels and two small glazed panels above, topped with a wooden gabled hood. At the rear, there are two brick stacks on the main house and a large external lateral stack on a continuous outshut, which is covered by a catslide thatch roof. The interior includes panelled internal shutters.
