Description

Dovecote Cottage is a building that was likely constructed in the 16th century. Originally a dovecote, it is now used as a house. The exterior is made of flint with scattered stone and features stone quoins. The roof is tiled. The building has two storeys and a square plan, with the original entrance located on the south side, a second entrance on the west, and a round-headed opening on the east side. There is a graffito dated 1693 on a stone set on the west side, which was removed from the interior. A dormer is present on the south side. The interior has been converted for residential use, but a removable panel still shows some original nest boxes.
