Description

No. 9 Church Street is a house dating from the late 18th century, which has been refronted from an earlier structure. It is built of red brick with ashlar dressings and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and is double-fronted, showcasing flush quoins, a dripcourse, and an eaves band. The windows are cyma-moulded flush mullion types, with two 2-light windows on the upper floor and two 3-light windows on the lower floor. The entrance door is off-centre, set in a raised moulded surround and topped with a hood supported by brackets. A very large chimney is located at the rear of the house. The interior has not been inspected.
