Description
Bugley Barton Farmhouse is an early to mid 19th century detached villa. It has two storeys and a basement, constructed of ashlar stone with raised quoins and dressings. The roof is hipped and covered with old tiles, featuring two ashlar chimneys. The first floor has three windows, while the ground floor has two, all of which are glazing bar sashes with keystones and bracketed cills. A projecting central Tuscan portico, accessed by three steps and topped with a blocking course, frames a six-panel door with a plain overlight. The east side of the building is treated similarly, and there is a long single-storey extension to the left. Inside, the farmhouse features an elegant square section baluster staircase with a curled bottom.
