Description

This is an early to mid-19th century pair of buildings located on West Street, Warminster. The ground floor of number 31 incorporates a basement dating back to the late 17th or early 18th century. The exterior is largely constructed of coursed and squared rubble stone with brick upper courses, featuring brick quoins on the right side and brick dressings. The first floor has two small, two-light casement windows with small panes of glass. The ground floor has two glazing bar sash windows, flanked by two slightly recessed four-panel doors. Stone lintels top the ground floor openings. Steps lead up to a shared terrace with railings. The basement of number 31 retains the upper half of a circa 1700 mullion window. The roof is covered in pantiles.
