Description
90 and 92 West Street are early 18th-century buildings that have been altered. They are two storeys high and constructed from painted coursed and squared rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and some brick dressings. The roof is covered with old tiles and is hipped at the return wing on the right.
Number 90 has two late glazed sash windows with beaded inner edges on the first floor, and on the ground floor, there are two plate glass shop windows with a central door. There is a Sun Fire Insurance Mark located below the eaves, along with wall lights. Number 92 features two ranges of altered late glazed sash windows with wooden architrave surrounds and a half-glazed door positioned off centre to the left.
At the rear of Number 90, there is a wing with a coped gable and three small moulded early 18th-century openings, two of which are blocked. One opening, which formerly had a mullion, now contains a two-light casement window. Additionally, there is a low single-storey pantile stable wing at the rear of Number 92.
