Description

The shell monument, located in the churchyard about 6 meters south of the Bullock monument and southeast of the Church of St. Thomas, is a chest tomb from the late 18th century. It is made of ashlar stone and features two plaques on each side. The tomb is rectangular with quadrant curved lower corners, a fluted central strip, and fielded angle piers. It has a moulded base and cornice. The monument is positioned next to the path leading to Church Cottage.
