Description
The Cooper and King monuments are two similar chest tombs located in the churchyard, 18 meters south of the south porch of the Church of All Saints in Winterslow. They date from the early 19th century and are made of limestone. Each tomb features a table with a rounded edge and a slightly hipped top, along with a moulded base. The design includes recessed squat fluted pilasters and panels with reverse rounded corners, adorned with rosettes in the spandrels. The northern tomb is dedicated to Robert Cooper, who died in 1811, and his wife, while the southern tomb is for David Henry King, who died in 1801, and his wife.
