Description

The crinkle-crankle wall on the east side of the garden at Maddington Manor dates back to the 18th century. It is made of lime-washed cob resting on a brick plinth, with a thatched top covering the northern two-thirds, while the southern part features a coping of double Roman tiles. The wall is approximately 90 metres long and includes one planked door with strap hinges located about halfway along its length. At the northern end, it is attached to The Lodge.
