Description

Priory Cottage is a house that likely dates from the 17th century and has been altered over time. It is constructed from colourwashed limestone rubble and features a thatched roof. The building is one storey high with an attic and consists of four bays, with a one-bay extension that projects forward on the left side. The entrance is located in the right bay and consists of a 20th-century eight-panelled door, which is sheltered by a thatched canopy. The windows are 20th-century timber casements. There is a brick chimney stack situated between the second and third bays, as well as one on the left gable. The thatch extends over two dormers located at the front and rear of the cottage.
