Description
No. 27 Holloway Hill is a mid-19th century house, likely built on the footprint of an earlier structure. It is constructed from rendered limestone rubble, with brick gable stacks and a stone slate roof. The building follows a two-room plan parallel to the street. The house is two storeys and has an attic, featuring a three-window front. The two right-hand windows and the front door are positioned together, separated from the left-hand window. The doorway has a moulded timber architrave with roundels, topped with a pedimented canopy, and it contains a six-panel door. There are two-over-two pane sash windows in exposed boxes, with a gabled casement dormer window to the right. The interior was not inspected.
