Description

Nos 25 and 25A on Kingsbury Street are buildings from the 17th or 18th century that were altered in the mid-19th century. They have a rendered exterior and a pitched slate roof, with older tiles behind. The buildings feature a chequer brick stack with cornicing. They stand two storeys tall with attics and have four bays, two of which are topped with gables, each containing one sash window with glazing bars. Between the gables is an attic dormer that has a moulded frame, a pediment, and a sash window with glazing bars. On the first floor, there are four sashes with glazing bars set in moulded flush frames. The ground floor includes two canted bays from the 19th century with sashes and two half-glazed doors, all sheltered by a slate pent roof supported by three brackets with trefoil perforation. To the right, there are planked double doors. The rear elevation features three flush-framed cased sashes with glazing bars. Nos 17 to 34 on Kingsbury Street form a group with these buildings.
