Description
Rudge Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse located on the east side of Ramsbury Road in Froxfield. It features a diaper brick facade and brick laced flintwork on the sides, topped with a tiled roof. The building is two stories high and has a layout of three bays by two bays. The central entrance is set within a later 19th-century gabled porch and includes a six-panelled door, with the upper two panels being glazed. The windows are sixteen-pane sashes with stone sills and tumbled brick lintels. The roof is hipped, with a central valley at the rear and chimney stacks located centrally on the side elevations. There are tiled single-storey extensions on the left and rear of the farmhouse.
