Description
Park House is a house dating from the late 18th to early 19th century, with alterations made in the mid-19th century. It is positioned at right angles to the road. The rear block features diaper brickwork, while the front block is constructed of red brick with a rendered facade, both topped with tiled roofs. The building is two storeys high with attics and has three bays. The central entrance door is adorned with a Tuscan portico, flanked by canted four-paned sash windows that have tiled hipped roofs. The first floor also has four-pane sashes, and the building is accentuated with raised quoins.
To the right, there is a later 19th-century wing that has two bays and includes a square bay window on the ground floor. Gable stacks are present on the roof. The earlier rear block is narrower and consists of four bays, maintaining the same length as the front block. This section features twelve-paned sashes with boxes set in the reveals and cambered heads, along with sixteen-paned sashes on the ground floor. Additionally, this block extends forward with a two-bay section of similar date, which includes a tiled hipped porch with a pair of doors.
