Description
Bramley Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th to early 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and colourwashed brick, topped with a thatched roof. The building is single storey with an attic and consists of two bays, featuring a lean-to extension on the left side. The left bay is timber framed and serves as the main living hall, which is now used as a kitchen and includes a stack. The right bay appears to be a rebuilt framed bay in brick, currently functioning as a parlour that has a staircase and an external stack at the gable. At the rear, there is a lean-to that contains the entrance. The framing consists of two panels high with curved corner braces, and there are paned timber windows. The thatch extends down over the lean-to extension.
