Description

No. 5 High Street is an 18th-century house, originally two separate homes. It is constructed of rubble stone and features a stone slate roof with end stacks and two ridge stacks. The building stands two storeys high. The left side, which was one of the original houses, has two triple casement windows on each floor and a center door that is now blocked. The right side has beaded mullion windows, with a 2-light window above and a 3-light window below, along with a center door set in a moulded flush surround that has a hood supported by brackets. The left end section has a lower roof covered with Bridgwater tiles and includes a single 9-pane front window.
