Description

Tythe Barn House is a building that was converted from a barn to a house in the 18th century. It is constructed of rubble stone and features a stone slate half-hipped roof. The east side has a half-hipped projecting cart-entry that originally had a timber lintel, but this opening is now glazed. On each side of the building, there are two loops and one upper loading door, which have also been glazed. The south end of the barn has been converted into a garage with a half-hipped roof and features two openings on the east and south sides, along with external stairs. The north end wall displays three symmetrical loops and an apex roundel.
