Description

Arms Farmhouse is a farmhouse, largely of the 18th century, constructed from rubble stone with a stone slate mansard roof and brick end stacks. It is situated on the south side of High Street, Sutton Benger, with a gable facing the street. The two-storey and attic property has a three-window west front featuring cyma-moulded flush mullion windows. These windows are two-light in the upper level and three-light below, with a central door in a similarly moulded surround. A 19th-century hipped timber porch is present. Flush quoins are visible. There is an attic light on the north end of the building, and a hipped rear wing to the north east, with a two-window range of casement windows. A lean-to adjoins the wing on its left-hand side.
