Description

The dovecote at Netheravon House, dating from the 18th century, was restored around 1980. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a plain tile roof. The building is square in shape and has stepped dentilled eaves. The hipped roof is topped with a modern cupola that has a hipped tile roof and a ball finial. On the south side, there is a 20th-century slatted door set beneath a brick relieving arch, along with two louvred dormers that have hipped roofs and Welsh slate cheeks. The interior has not been inspected but is reported to contain chalk nesting boxes, although the lower tiers have been destroyed.
