Description

Choulston Farmhouse is a farmhouse, now a house, dating from the early 18th century. It features Flemish bond brickwork and a tiled roof. The building is two storeys high and has an E-plan layout, with internal alterations. There is a plat band and outstepping eaves. A central 20th-century hipped porch with a half-glazed door provides access. The windows have been altered, with 12-paned sashes on the ground floor set within openings that have cambered heads, and nine-paned sashes on the first floor. There are two brick stacks, and a 20th-century single-storey extension is located to the right. The interior was modernised in 1985.
