Description
Nos 114, 115, and 116 on High Street are a row of three cottages, originally four, dating from the 18th century. They are constructed of roughcast with a thatched roof and stand two storeys high, featuring eight bays in total. Each cottage was originally two bays wide and has brick stacks on the party walls. No 116, which later served as the Post Office, includes a Jubilee clock in the gable above the door. The doors are glazed, although No 116 has a boarded door. The cottages have early 20th century sliding paned casement windows and various extensions at the rear. Inside No 116, there is a chamfered spine beam and a blocked large fireplace.
