Description

The Grange is a detached house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of stucco with a Welsh slate hipped roof and brick stacks. The house is oriented with a gable end facing the road. The south front has two storeys and three windows. A central margin-pane French window is flanked by margin-pane sash windows on the ground floor, and 12-pane sash windows are flanked by a 16-pane sash window on the first floor. Shallow quoins are present. The left return side features a two-light latticed cast iron casement window. A parallel rear range has a gabled attic with pointed attic casement windows. The east front has a six-panelled door set within a latticed porch. The interior was inaccessible during a survey in March 1987.
