Description
Dominion House is a house that has been converted into offices, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble with painted ashlar, featuring brick and ashlar gable stacks and a pantile mansard roof. The building has a single-depth plan with a rear service range and stands two storeys high with an attic, displaying a two-window range. Notable architectural features include a cornice and parapet, pilaster strips, a plain central doorway with a panelled door, and a blocked window above. The windows consist of paired 6/6-pane sashes, and there are two dormers with hipped roofs that contain mid-20th century casements. A lead downpipe is also present. Inside, there is a through-passage, a left-hand dogleg stair, and a three-bay roof.
