Description

This is an early 19th-century building of four units, numbered 22 to 25, on Long Street. The facades are of painted stucco, with low-pitched slate roofs. Each unit has two windows to the first floor, although the glazing has been altered in numbers 22 and 24. On the ground floor, numbers 22, 23 and 24 each have one window and a recessed door on the right-hand side. The doors to numbers 23 and 24 have six panels, two of which are glazed. Number 25 features a shop front with seven panes across and four up, on the right-hand side, and a contemporary glazed door to the left, with a sign panel above; there is no cornice. The corner facade at Bridewell Street curves on the ground floor and has two windows on the return end. Nos 8 to 30 Long Street form a group.
