Description
Fullingbridge Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the early 19th century. It is constructed of English garden wall bond brick and features a pantiled hipped roof with brick stacks. The building is two storeys high and has four windows. The original 17th-century section has a central 20th-century door set within a hipped porch, flanked by two 6-pane sash windows. There is a moulded string course at the first floor level, above which are three 6-pane sashes and 19th-century raised and toothed eaves. To the left, an early 19th-century addition includes 16-pane sashes on both the ground and first floors, along with brick pilasters. At the rear, there is a 20th-century two-storey extension to the right and a 18th-century rear wing featuring stone quoins and 20th-century casements. The interior was not accessible during the survey in July 1986, but it is reported to have open fireplaces and 19th-century open well stairs.
