Description

No. 16 Bratton Road is a pair of cottages that have been converted into a farmhouse, dating from around 1700. The building is constructed of dressed limestone and features a double Roman tiled roof with gable end brick stacks. It is two stories high with five windows across the front. The central entrance has a 20th-century door and a blocked doorway beneath a 20th-century canopy. On either side of the door, there are two 2-light ogee-moulded mullioned casements. A continuous string course runs along the lintels. The first floor has five 2-light mullioned casements. The interior was remodeled in the 20th century.
