GV II

House, formerly shop. Dated 1758. Limestone rubble with a large axial brick stack and stone slate roof. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys; 3-window range. Timber lintels span 2 inner doorways and outer windows, the right-hand doorway has a bracketed canopy and C20 glazed door with a late C19 shop window to the right, the left-hand doorway has a C20 glazed door, and metal-framed casements in oak pegged frames with small panes. Date pad inscribed IC/1785 to the middle of the first floor. INTERIOR: not inspected.
