Description
Font House is a detached house from the early 19th century, constructed of Flemish bond brick with raised brick quoins and a hipped Welsh slate roof featuring gable end brick stacks. The building is two stories high and has three windows. The central entrance consists of a four-panelled door with a fanlight, set within a round-arched brick surround. On either side of the door are 16-pane sash windows with flat arches above. There is a three-brick plat band at the first floor, which also features three 16-pane sash windows. The left side of the house has a two-light casement window on the first floor, while the right side has a similar two-light casement. At the rear, there is a two-storey extension that may date from the 18th century, which has 20th-century casement windows. Inside, the house retains six-panelled doors with moulded architraves, a staircase with stick balusters, window shutters, and fireplaces.
