Description

Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early 17th century. It is constructed of rubble stone with stone slate roofs and features ashlar stacks on the north side wall and the south end wall. The building stands 2 and a half storeys high and has a five-window range. The three bays on the left have recessed chamfered mullion windows typical of the early 17th century, while the two bays on the right have cyma-moulded recessed mullion windows from the late 17th century.

The left section includes two gables with 2-light windows, two first-floor 3-light mullion-and-transom windows with relieving arches, a central 2-light window, and a ground floor central door flanked by 18th or early 19th century sashes, each with relieving arches above. There are paired sashes in architraves to the left and a single sash to the right. The door is from the 19th century and is set in a 19th-century surround. A 19th-century timber gabled porch features a date plaque reading "IH 1632".

The right section has a two-window range of 2-light mullion windows, with a single hoodmould over the lower windows. There is a southeast rear wing with a hipped east gable, and a parallel gabled range to the south that includes an east stack and a west first-floor 2-light mullion window. The farmhouse was illustrated in the Draycot Estate sale catalogue from July 27, 1920.
