Description

This barn, located 70 meters east of Beacon Farmhouse, dates from the 18th or 19th century. It is timber framed and stands on 13 staddles, measuring 5 feet wide. The barn features corrugated iron sidings and a corrugated asbestos roof, with one gable that is weatherboarded. It consists of six bays and has a queen strut roof supported by a single purlin and windbraces. Additionally, there are struts connecting the posts to the plates and ties, and the roof is half-hipped.
