Description

Nos 9 and 10 are a pair of estate cottages built between 1860 and 1865. They are constructed from brick laced flint and feature a tiled roof. Each cottage is two stories high and consists of one bay, with later side extensions added. The front has a lateral boarded door and three-light timber casement windows that have stop-chamfered frames. All openings are topped with pointed arches made of alternating red and blue bricks, and there is tile hanging in the tympanum above. The upper floor includes a gabled half-dormer. A central stack is positioned on the elevation, which has a central projecting angle and a datestone roundel below it.
