Description

Buchan House is a vicarage, now a house, built in 1856 by S.S. Teulon. The building is constructed of flint with stone dressings and features brick decoration. It is two stories high and has a layout of two by three bays. The entrance is accessed via a flight of steps and is adorned with an elaborate hood and doorhead supported by colonnettes. Above the entrance, there is a corbelled triangular bay. The windows are 4-pane sashes set in stone surrounds, with each pane having rounded top corners. The east front features buttresses on the central bay, which has three windows on each floor. To the left, there are two gabled outbuildings.
