Description
This is a mid-19th century terrace of six houses, numbered 33 to 37 Wingfield Road, situated within a larger group. The houses are two storeys high and are framed by vertical pilaster strips. They have a stone plinth, a decorative band above the ground floor, and another below a moulded eaves cornice. The construction incorporates stone dressings, a stone cope to the parapet, and large bricks laid in stamped patterns. Each house has two windows, with glazing bar sashes. The doorways are round-headed, featuring traceried fanlights and three-panel doors. Houses numbered 39 to 57 (odd) are also noted as being of local interest.
