Description
Scout Hall, built around 1856 and likely designed by A. F. Livesay, was formerly a National School. It features an adapted Elizabethan style and is two storeys high. The building is constructed of ashlar and consists of three bays, with a slight extension to the right. It has mullion windows with moulded four-centred arch heads and label moulds; the first floor has three-light windows, the ground floor has four-light windows, and the extension has two-light windows. There are two gabled breaks for windows flanking a central entrance, which has four-centred arched multi-panelled doors and a label mould. The side door in the extension also has a four-centred arch head. The gables are decorated with quatrefoil panels. The roof is covered with concrete Roman tiles and features two gable end chimneys and a central vent.
