Description
Post Office Stores is a semi-detached shop and house dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed from pebbledashed rubble stone and features a thatched roof with a hip to the left and a brick stack. The building is two storeys high and has three windows. The mid-20th century double shop front includes a central glazed door and bow-fronted flanking windows, with a frieze that has a dentilled cornice above. To the right, there are fixed windows, a 6-panelled door with a flat wooden hood supported by posts, and a 20th-century three-light casement. The first floor has three 2-light casements, while the left return features a single-light and a 2-light casement. The rear of the building has lean-to and gabled extensions with casements. Inside the shop, there are chamfered beams and 4-panelled and planked doors.
