Description

No. 4 Water Lane is a house from the late 18th century that has undergone alterations. It is built of rubble stone and features a stone-tiled roof with a stack at the south end. The house is two stories high and has a two-window range. On the first floor, there are two unmoulded mullion windows with two lights each. The ground floor has a door set within a 20th-century surround, with a small single light window to the left and a two-light cyma-moulded flush mullion window to the right. The windows have leaded fixed lights and timber opening casements.
