Description

No. 5 Water Lane is a house from the late 18th century, built of rubble stone with a stone tiled roof and end wall stacks. It has two storeys and an attic, featuring a three-window range and two hipped dormers. The first floor has three two-light cyma moulded flush mullion windows. On the ground floor, there is a central door with a flush doorcase and a hood supported by brackets, along with a two-light cyma-moulded flush mullion window with a dripstone to the left, and a pair of 12-pane sash windows in a bead-moulded surround to the right. The mullion windows have small paned sashes.
