Description

This is a mid-19th century detached villa located on Bratton Road. The house is constructed of red brick with corner piers and has a hipped slate roof with sprocket eaves. It features two chimneys, each with three octagonal shafts. The windows are glazing bar sashes with brick flat arches; the first floor has three windows and the ground floor has two. A central six-panel door, with the upper two panels glazed, is sheltered by a large, latticework-fronted porch. A two-storey extension is present to the left, mirroring the design and incorporating a chimney stack set at a right angle. The front of the property is defined by a low dwarf wall with two central and two end rustic piers, low spearhead rails with dog rails, and two gates.
