Description
Nos 123 and 124 in Bodenham Village are a pair of attached cottages dating from the early 17th century, with additional bays added in the late 17th and 18th centuries. The cottages feature timber-framing with brick nogging in square panels across three bays, while the 18th-century bay on the right is constructed in English bond brick. They have a hipped thatched roof with an axial brick stack and a lobby entry. The cottages are single storey with an attic and present a four-window front. There are two planked doors on the left and right, with a 3-light casement window in between, along with two 2-light casements and one 3-light casement on the left, all featuring leaded glass. The attic includes a small bay with a 2-light leaded casement and a 2-light casement to the right. The right side of the building has one cast-iron casement on the ground floor and one 2-light casement on the first floor, while the left side is windowless. The rear has two planked doors and four 2-light metal casements from the 20th century. The interior has not been inspected.
