Description

East Holm Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It features Flemish bond brickwork and a tiled roof. The building is two storeys high with a double pile plan. The south front has three bays and includes a brick porch with a flat moulded stone roof. The windows are twelve-paned sashes, although there is a later window to the left of the door. The left elevation, which faces the road, also has three bays, with canted stone bays on the ground floor and twelve-pane sashes on the upper floor, while the central bay is blind. The roof is hipped with boxed eaves. At the rear, there is a north wing with four bays and a brick return to the west that links to Poughcombe Farm.
