Description
Penruddocke Cottage is a detached cottage that dates from the early 17th century and was rebuilt in the late 17th century. It features square-panelled timber-framing with brick nogging, dressed limestone, and brick, topped with a half-hipped thatched roof and a brick stack. The cottage is single-storey with an attic and has three windows. There is a 20th-century porch to the right of the center, which includes a three-light recessed chamfered mullioned casement with a hoodmould to the right, and two two-light casements to the left. The attic has three eyebrow dormers, each with two-light casements. The left side of the cottage has two-light casements and an attached 20th-century garage. At the rear right, there is a 20th-century extension designed in a similar style. The interior was not accessible during the survey conducted in February 1986.
