Description

Horse Shoe Bridge is a road bridge over the River Nadder, built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of dressed limestone and features three segmental arches, with the central arch being higher than the two flanking arches. There is a plat band at road level and cutwaters on both sides of the bridge. The bridge has a plain parapet with pitched coping, and the abutment walls are slightly angled, ending in square piers.
