Description

This is an early 19th-century farmhouse with a later 17th-century rear wing. The construction is of rubble stone with stone slate roofs. The front range is two storeys high and three windows wide, featuring 20th-century margin-light sash windows in raised stone surrounds. The front has flush quoins and a central door within an ashlar surround, set in a shallow, ashlar porch with a segmental-arched entrance. Coped gables and end stacks are present. The rear wing has an end stack and a two-window range on its north side, featuring casement pairs with timber lintels above, a four-light ovolo-moulded stone mullion window, and a triple casement with a timber lintel below. Inside the rear wing, there is a large Tudor-arched fireplace with a timber lintel and shelf, along with a chamfered beam featuring ogee stops.
