Description

Langley Cottage is an 18th-century house that was altered in the early 19th century. It is built of roughcast over rubble stone with a stone slate roof. Features include a rear chimney gable and an east end stack. The house is two storeys and has an attic, with a three-window front. It has three hipped dormers, three first-floor windows with 16 panes each, and ground-floor windows with paired 12-pane sashes. A six-panel door is set within a flush surround and has an early 19th-century hood supported by brackets. Lean-tos extend from each end of the building.
