Description

The barn and stable range located to the west of Manor Farmhouse dates from the 18th century. It is constructed of rubble stone and features stone slate roofs. The barn has a hipped east side with a cart entry, a lean-to on the left, and a door on the right. Inside, there is a five-bay double-purlin roof supported by tie-beam-and-collar trusses. At the south end, there is an attached stable with a half-hipped south gable and an east side doorway with a cambered head, which has a loading door above that breaks the eaves under the hipped gable. Additionally, a low range extends east from the south end, which has a hipped east gable and was formerly open to the north but is now enclosed.
