Description
No. 50 High Street is a house dating from the later 18th century. It is built of painted rubble stone with ashlar dressings and has a concrete tile roof with end stacks. The house has two storeys and an attic, featuring three large 20th-century dormers. The front has a four-window range of beaded mullion windows, with a three-light window in the left bay and two-light windows elsewhere. The entrance door is located in the second bay, framed by a raised moulded surround and topped with a hood supported by brackets. The building also has flush quoins and a lean-to at the west end.
